01

Booking & lead times

Q1

How far in advance should we book a motivational speaker?

Most companies book 8 to 12 weeks ahead of their event, though Enda can sometimes accommodate shorter notice depending on the calendar. Popular dates in the autumn conference season, and around World Mental Health Day in October, fill fastest.

Q2

How do we book Enda for our event?

Contact Enda directly through the website’s contact form or by phone. He’ll arrange a short call to discuss your event, audience and goals, then follow up with a tailored proposal and quote.

Q3

Can we book Enda through our speaker bureau, or does he only take direct bookings?

Both. Enda welcomes direct enquiries through this website, which typically means faster response times and more flexibility on format, but he’s also happy to work through your preferred speaker bureau if that’s your usual process.

Q4

What happens if Enda is unable to attend our event?

In the unlikely event that Enda is unable to attend, you will not be charged, and any fee already paid is refunded in full. He will also do everything he can to arrange a replacement speaker for you.

Q5

Is Enda insured?

Yes. Enda holds both public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance. Details can be provided to your venue or procurement team on request.

02

The keynote

Q6

How long is the keynote?

Keynotes generally run from one hour to an hour and a half. The length can be adjusted to match the content and the duration of your conference.

Q7

Does Enda tailor the talk to our industry or audience?

Yes. Every keynote includes a pre-event consultation to understand your organisation’s specific challenges, culture, and goals, so the talk speaks directly to your team rather than delivering a generic version of the message.

Q8

What is included when we book Enda?

Every booking includes a pre-event consultation call, a keynote tailored to your organisation and audience, early arrival at the venue on the day, and a complimentary digital copy of Enda’s eBook, The Thriving Mind, for your team afterward. In the months following the event, delegates also receive a short follow-up digital presentation, a reminder of the experience and its key messages, helping the impact of the day last well beyond the event itself.

Q9

Can we include a Q&A after the keynote?

Yes. Enda is very happy to take questions and answers after the keynote, and to do a meet and greet with your team afterwards.

Q10

What size audiences does Enda speak to?

Enda has addressed audiences ranging from small senior leadership teams to conferences of several thousand people, with the same energy and connection regardless of room size.

03

Formats & locations

Q11

Can Enda deliver talks online as well as in person?

Yes. Enda regularly delivers virtual keynotes and online seminar sessions, which work well for organisations with remote or distributed teams across multiple locations.

Q12

What types of corporate events does Enda speak at?

Enda speaks at annual conferences, leadership summits, sales kick-offs, management development days, wellness days, team away days, gala dinners, and both virtual and hybrid events.

Q13

Is Enda based in Dublin or does he travel nationwide?

Enda is based in Ireland and speaks at corporate events across Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, and nationwide, as well as internationally.

Duty of care

The keynote deals with mental health, bereavement and addiction. How is the audience looked after?

Enda is clear at the very beginning of every talk that he is not a medical practitioner. He speaks from lived experience, not from clinical expertise, and he says so up front.

The presentation closes with practical advice on how anyone affected by the subjects covered, whether depression, anxiety or alcoholism, can get support. Many organisations use that moment to point out their own employee assistance programme or wellbeing schemes, and it is an ideal opening for it.

If there is anything specific about your team Enda should know beforehand, the pre-event consultation call is the place to raise it.

Still have a question?

Enda will arrange a short call to discuss your event, audience and goals, then follow up with a tailored proposal and quote.

Enda answers booking enquiries personally.
